Much more than a simple title

The biggest rivalry of the sports takes a different dimension when Raphael Nadal will be looking for his Saint-Grail at the beginning of the Australian Open.

Roger Federer will defend really much more that his title in this first Grand Slam competition of the season after his victory last week in Sydney. Indeed he leads Nadal 16 - 9 in the Grand Slam stakes but the Spaniard can become the first man since Rod Laver in 1969 to win four Grand Slams on the same year.

Those two geniuses of the tennis are dominating the sport as nobody else previously, meeting seven times in Grand Slam finals and being in turn world’s number 1 for seven years.

For most, Roger is the best player of all times but the Majorquin is getting closer and closer.

My opinion: I think that they are the two best players that tennis has ever known and with a titleholder Federer in peak condition and world leader Nadal, the fight for the title will be relentless.

Bien plus qu’un simple titre

Raphael Nadal est en quête de son Saint-Graal en ce début d’Open d’Australie et la plus grande des rivalités sportives va prendre une tout autre dimension.

Roger Federer défendra bien plus que son titre dans ce premier titre du Grand Chelem de la saison après sa victoire la semaine dernière à Sydney. En effet il mène 16 à 9 au classement des titres du Grand Chelem face à Nadal qui peut devenir le premier homme depuis Rod Laver en 1969 à remporter les quatre tournois d’affilée.

Les deux génies du tennis ont dominé le sport comme personne d’autre auparavant, se mesurant à sept reprises en final d’un tournoi du Grand Chelem et étant tour à tour numéro 1 mondial durant sept ans.

Pour la plupart des amateurs, Roger est le meilleur joueur de tous les temps mais le Majorquin se rapproche de plus en plus.

Mon opinion : Je pense effectivement qu’ils sont le deux plus grands joueurs que le tennis ait connu et avec un Federer tenant du titre et au mieux de sa forme face à un Nadal numéro un mondial, la lutte pour le titre sera acharnée.
